With a network of over 120 members in more than 100 countries, ECPAT International is the only global non-governmental organisation dedicated solely to ending the sexual exploitation of children.
We aim to achieve this by:

  1. Leading a global movement that champions evidence-based advocacy and shifts harmful narratives. – See how we advocate for change
  2. Generating compelling evidence that informs child-centred policies, approaches and solutions. – See the evidence behind our work
  3. Bringing together civil society organisations to collaborate and innovate. Meet our global network

ECPAT’s global mission began in 1990, when a small group of advocates gathered in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to confront the growing issue of child sexual exploitation. What began as a campaign has grown into a global movement. Since then, we’ve worked with governments, international bodies, the private sector, and communities, including children themselves. Together, we are deepening understanding of this complex issue and driving the systemic change needed to end it.
