The UNODC Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific recently undertook legislative reviews in the above four countries to examine the extent to which domestic legislation met key international legal standards applicable to child sexual exploitation in travel and tourism. Following extensive consultations with the respective governments, UNODC made recommendations intended to address gaps and strengthen domestic legislative frameworks.
